Urban colour Blok, 2025

Exhibition initiated by artist- curator Robyn Scanlan, founder of City flowers garden studio, Dundee.

“Urban Colour Blok" is a group exhibition of Scottish based artists, designers, spoken word artists and musicians.

It is based on the over arching concept of morphology and the amorphous feelings of nostalgia, comfort and detachment that urban aesthetics bring to the surface.

Dail Collective also encourages us all to explore our relationship with nature through the indigenous plants found within Scottish Cities.

Two linear themes in the collection of works are form and function; man-made environments, buildings and how weather impacts their design, dissecting the function of urban plants or within the Scot's language; spoken, sung, digitised or written.

The Living Library exhibition will be hosted in The Macro Micro Studio, The Gairden and Temperate Glasshouse at Dundee Botanics, The purpose built lab was made with upto 50 different materials and is simply put an example of the "art of architecture".
